1930s–1940s Monmouth Pottery utility pitcher attributed to the Western Stoneware Company of Monmouth, Illinois. Compact brown stoneware form with raised diamond relief decoration, a geometric rim band, squared handle, and sharp pouring spout.
Originally suited to household use as a milk pitcher or batter jug.
