Why Bulldogs? About Us.
Bulldogs in the Kitchen has been evolving since 2016. It’s been a recipe blog. It’s flirted with being a platform. It’s admired small makers and great chefs from a respectful distance.
What it turned out to be is simpler—and more honest.
We don’t believe cooking is about perfect execution or faithfully following instructions. And while we appreciate a beautiful meal in an impressive room, what we care about most is what happens before and after the food hits the table.
Cooking, to us, is an act of connection. Dining is how we show care. The tools you use should support that—not compete with it.
Bulldogs in the Kitchen is a considered collection of kitchen and table tools chosen for how they feel in real use. Pieces that work well, hold up, and make time in the kitchen feel calmer and more intentional. We focus on the essential without the clutter—because excess doesn’t make cooking better, it just makes it louder.
Our assortment blends modern staples with vintage icons. Some are everyday workhorses. Others are indulgent, storied, or a little extra. The kind of objects that earn their place because they bring something distinct to the experience. The best kitchens aren’t built all at once—they’re collected over time, with intention.
And the bulldogs?
For Editor-in-Chief Alex Graves, bulldogs in the kitchen are the clearest expression of home—usually asleep at our feet, sometimes stationed at the table, always present. For you, that presence might look different: a parent, a grandparent, a sibling, a mentor, a friend who taught you how to cook without a recipe.
Whoever your bulldog is, we hope these tools support many hours of good food, shared tables, and moments worth remembering.

Little Pink Luxuries
Milieu Collection 001
For the collectors, snackers, dessert-first hosts, and anyone who believes the good glassware should be used often. Inspired by cherry blossoms, mismatched vintage glass, overflowing cake stands, and unapologetic sweet tooths. Let us eat cake.
