Vintage Cream Earthenware Plater Bowl | Primitive Salt Glaze
Vintage Cream Earthenware Plater Bowl | Primitive Salt Glaze
Couldn't load pickup availability
An antique primitive decorative bowl or planter. Given the shape this could very well be either. It is identical in lip design and glaze to the other earthenware pieces we have in the store, however, the shape is taller than a standard bowl. The rusty patina on the inside leads me to believe this was likely used as a planter in the past.
Condition Disclosure :
- Rusting both inside and out. Not surprising given it was likely made in northern MN where it is very iron rich.
- Significant chip on the side with some minor chips along the edge.
- Crack on the underside of the lip. Appears to only be cosmetic at this point
- Wear consistent with age
Dimensions : Approximately 7" tall x 9" wide
